On Friday I leave Madrid for a month of travel around Europe. To say I’m excited is an understatement, so instead I’ll say I’m stoked!

And one of the experiences I am most stoked about is surfing in San Sebastian, Spain with the Stoke Travel Co.

I may not be the best chick out among the waves, but I love to surf!

San Sebastian Surf Camp

Located in the North of Spain, San Sebastian’s Zurriola Beach is not only one of the top surf destinations in Spain but in all of Europe. Every spring through fall it is home to dozens of international competitions.

I will be spending two days improving my surf skills and soaking up some Spanish rays at San Sebastian Surf Camp, presented by the Stoke Travel Company. The all-inclusive camp includes surfboard rental, surf lessons and three healthy meals a day.

I love the outdoors and am excited to camp near the beach in a pre-erected tent that comes with mattresses and sleeping bags.

But San Sebastian Surf Camp isn’t all about the surfing—it’s also about the party. For an extra 5 euro a day you can have unlimited beer and sangria and there are optional nightly excursions to San Sebastian’s Old Town.

What: Surf your brains out all day and then at night party in San Sebastian with your new surfer friends.

Details: Basic package includes camping and breakfast. All-inclusive package includes accommodation in tents, surf lessons and equipment and all meals. 

Cost: 30 euro a night for B&B, 60 euro a night for all-inclusive

Surfari Surf Through Spain and France

What: The Van Surfari is for those surfers who truly live the search for the perfect wave. Travel between Spain and France wherever the waves are best.

Details:  Includes surf lessons and gear hire, camping accommodation and transportation.

Surf and Spanish Lessons

What: It sounds a whole lot better to tell your mom you are running off to Spain for the summer to learn Spanish than to surf, right? Well Surf and Spanish combines the two with Spanish courses and surf lessons.

Includes: 6-nights basic camping accommodation and two hours of Spanish lessons a day from a certified teacher.

Cost: 6-night packages start at 350 euro
