Hola my faithful readers!

Tomorrow marks the beginning of Semana Santa, or Holy Week in Spain, and with that Something In Her Ramblings is off on a 10-day adventure to Eastern Europe.

Here’s a look at the destinations I’ll be visiting:

Something In Her Ramblings Heads to Eastern Europe

Krakow, Poland

Krakow, Poland is one of the oldest cities in Poland, and situated close to the Auschwitz Concentration Camp Memorial. On my visit to Krakow I will take a guided tour of Auschwitz to learn more about this terrifying chapter in history.

Budapest, Hungary

One of the largest cities in Eastern Europe, Budapest is the capital of Hungary. On my visit here I will visit the historic sights of the city and relax in the world-famous thermal baths.

Vienna, Austria

Is there any city more grand than Vienna, Austria? I’ll find out soon as I visit the many world-class museums here as well as the Vienna State Opera House and a royal palace.

Bratislava, Slovakia

Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia. I don’t know much about this city or country, so I’m looking forward to learning more on a walking tour.

Prague, Czech Republic

Many of the travelers I have met on the road in Europe have raved about Prague, naming it one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. I will spend Easter here and learn more about the city’s history on a walking tour.

Have you been to any of these cities? I’d love to hear your recommendations. Leave a comment below or tweet me @LaurenSalisbury with your insider tips.

Happy travels!
